Within 60 days of purchase, we will gladly exchange or refund items* returned with a receipt. Don't have a receipt? We're happy to offer an exchange for merchandise* of the same current value.

Advertised Products In-Stock, Guaranteed

Few things are more frustrating than going to a store because you saw an item you wanted in one of their flyers, only to find out they have none left. We don't like it either, so we guarantee that if you see an item advertised, without any quantity limits, we'll have it in stock in sufficient quantities to meet anticipated demand.

If, due to extraordinary circumstances, we don't, we'll either offer you a similar item at the same price or, where applicable, a rain-check which allows you to purchase up to three units at the sale price, as soon as it becomes available.

Layaway Policy

In many of our stores, customers can have merchandise set aside for as long as 60 days. In order to do this, a minimum 10% deposit is mandatory and the layaway must be picked up within the agreed time period. To help us manage the increased demand for this service during the Christmas season, some added restrictions may apply. Please visit your local store for more information.

Coupon Policy

We accept the following types of coupons (see subject to the requirements and limits below):

• Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
• Free merchandise (or manufacturer's Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
• The Bargain! Shop Store Coupons
• The above listed coupons printed from the internet

The following requirements and limits are applicable:

• We only accept coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
• The coupon must be an exact match to the item purchased (size, quantity, brand, style, etc.)
• Only one acceptable coupon may be presented for each purchased item within a transaction.
• We will not accept expired coupons.
• Only Canadian coupons are accepted.
• All coupons, including Internet coupons must be legible.
• There must be a valid Canadian remit address for the manufacturer with either a scanable bar code or a readable numeric code.
• Only one introductory The Bargain! Shop Welcome Email coupon is permitted per customer.
• Use of 10 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by the Store Manager.
• Coupons are not redeemable for cash. If coupon value exceeds the current price of the item, the excess amount will not be applied toward the basket purchase nor will cash be given to the customer.
