THE BARGAIN! SHOP IS THE TOP NATIONAL SPONSOR OF THE EASTER SEALS PAPER EGG CAMPAIGN!

Mississauga, June 2007 – Easter Seals Canada announced in their April newsletter that The Bargain! Shop raised over $70,000 in its stores across Canada, making it the top national sponsor of the Paper Egg Campaign.

Easter Seals Canada is dedicated to serving children and adults with physical disabilities. Almost 40,000 Canadians and their families annually access programs and services provided by Easter Seal Organizations across Canada. Easter Seals leads the way in building an inclusive society, triggering transformational change for people with disabilities.

The Paper Egg Campaign is a national marketing and fundraising campaign that is a decorative reminder of Easter and the community support of Easter Seals. During the three to four weeks leading up to Easter, participating retailers, like The Bargain! Shop, encourage customers to purchase and write their names on Paper Eggs, which store staff display in their store windows and walls.
