TOGETHER
WE CARE

Working hand in hand to give back to local communities coast to coast

Together We Care® was created as a part of our commitment to Connect with Our Communities. We are proud to support our local communities across Canada and have raised over $5.9 million over the years through various fundraising initiatives such as our Annual Food Drive, Toy Drive, and Fill-a-Sleigh Day.

ANNUAL TOGETHER WE CARE® PROGRAMS

We are committed to feeding as many individuals in our communities as possible. The annual Together We Care® Food Drive is sponsored by our stores by partnering with local charities of their choice to donate much-needed household items, baby care, fresh goods food and more to those in need in their neighbourhood

Our goal is to be your one-stop shop for all your Christmas toy needs  by providing great value on brands at great prices. Our chain of stores, partner with a charity of choice every year and help collect  toys for those in need.

With the help of our generous Customers, we collected $831,496 worth of toys for children in need this Christmas.

Fill a Sleigh

Every year during the holiday season, we donate 10% of our sales to local charities for one day. With the generous support of customers, they help us fill our sleigh with toys and gifts to donate to the stores' local charity of choice. It is a fun filled day intended to benefit local communities.

LOCAL TOGETHER WE CARE® FUNDRAISERS

Throughout the year, stores take part in supporting community initiatives by organizing local fundraisers.

Fort Quappelle

Winter Food Drive, Fort Qu’Appelle

In January 2020, the local food bank in Fort Qu’Appelle ran very low on supplies. As the temperature dropped below -35 degrees, school busses stopped running, roads were blocked and people had to wait hours on the road to get to work.

Michelle Yeo (Store Manager, The Bargain! Shop) and her store team organized a fundraiser and asked Customers to generously donate a can of soup to help keep the community warm throughout winter.

Thanks to the support from the local community, The Bargain! Shop was able to donate 312 cans of soup to the food bank to help keep families warm during the cold days.

Our stores across Canada are committed to show their support by helping their communities during difficult times.

Contact your local store for more information on the program.
